Love My Eyelash Extensions
Here’s my plug for The Lash Loft, where Annie applied Extreme Lashes to my eyelashes. When asked what look I was going for, I requested, “A rung below Drag Queen, but not understated either.” Annie, I think you did a wonderful job! Now I’m ready for Sarah’s wedding. My 14th nuptial appearance, as you may recall. The Lash Loft was an unassuming place in downtown St. Louis and I was very pleased with my lashes (especially for their $100 special. It took her two hours. I don’t know how she had the patience to glue those tiny strands to my individual eye lashes.) Thanks for being a girlfriend and going with me, Letetia! It’s definitely a beauty indulgence. My daughters are a bit skeptical of my bodacious eyelashes. They think I look a little freaky and wide-eyed. Like I’m taking beauty advice from nine year olds.
I don’t have a good photo of just my eyes with eyelash extensions so I’ll post this photo taken of me in April before a 70’s disco party. On a whim, I had a make-up artist do my eyes at Sephora in the mall right before the party. That day, my request was, “Make me look like a Peacock.” Nailed it.
