T-Minus Ten and Counting: Lumpectomy Surgery Tomorrow
Thanks for all the well wishes over the weekend and the wonderful gifts and support! It was so incredible to spend time with family and friends before embarking on this next phase.
I go in tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. to meet the very capable surgical staff at Siteman Cancer Center. I am looking forward to pain killers. Thinking good thoughts!
Jen,
I’ve always loved your oddball sense of humor and it was confirmed even more when I read your blog about the Honey Badger. My friend/client in Dallas, Allison (fellow breast cancer survivor, by the way), sent me that link months ago. We just laugh and laugh about that stupid thing. I forwarded the link to the Girls’ Breakfast Club girls, including your sister. They didn’t get it – no response, no nothing. But, THEN I see it mentioned on your blog. Honey Badger don’t care…Honey Badger don’t give a shit! I love your humor, your courage and your heart, Girl. I’ve been thinking about you often. Give the kids, Kevin and yourself a big hug and kiss from me.
One of your biggest fans,
Cheryl
You and your family are in my thoughts today. Hugs and best wishes for good drugs and a quick recovery. Looking forward to your perspective and thoughts on today’s events…
